CHOOSE YOUR REPUTATION IN ADVANCE

CHOOSE YOUR REPUTATION IN ADVANCE

When people first start out in their career as an
agent, they make the mistake of only focusing on
their commission, and not on their clients.

Another thing you have to consider is what type
of client you want to cater to. For example, if
you mostly focus on houses that are on the low
end of the price range, you'll get more of those
type of clients.

But if you focus instead on the high end clients,
the ones who are looking for high six figure, and
seven figure level properties, you'll be seen as
the "go to person" for that level.

For example... would you go to a Pinto salesman
if you wanted information on buying a new
Mercedes? Of course not.

Here's why this is a problem. When you go on a
vacation with your family, do you want to go to
the person who chargest the least, or the person
who can offer you the best experience? Think
about this... would you want to risk losing your
luggage because you had to transfer to 3
different planes? Would you want your children to
stay in the "cheapest" hotel (and all the things
that come with a cheap hotel... roaches, crime,
etc.)?

Cheapest isn't always best.

Also, you will attract the hagglers and bargain
hunters, not the people who just want to enjoy
themselves, and are willing to pay for a quality
home in a good area.

So decide in advance "who" you want to be known
as. Do you want to be known as the person who
handles ALL the details, and provides the
smoothest possible buying experience? That's
WORTH paying for, mia.
